Lost Boyz Legend Mr. Cheeks Is Now on EPonGO
PRESS RELEASE
LAS VEGAS, NV — July 9, 2026 — Hip-hop royalty has arrived on EPonGO. Mr. Cheeks — founding member and lead voice of the legendary Lost Boyz — is now active on the platform, bringing three decades of Queens hip-hop history to the EPonGO community.
A pillar of East Coast hip-hop
Mr. Cheeks (Terrance Kelly) formed the Lost Boyz in Jamaica, Queens in 1993 alongside Freaky Tah, DJ Spigg Nice, and Pretty Lou. Their 1996 debut, Legal Drug Money, went gold and delivered a run of classics — "Renee" (a gold-certified Billboard hit built on a Janet Jackson sample), "Music Makes Me High," "Lifestyles of the Rich & Shameless," and "Jeeps, Lex Coups, Bimaz & Benz." He went on to a successful solo career beginning with 2001's John P. Kelly.
A DCM artist and a genuine architect of 90s East Coast rap, Mr. Cheeks joins EPonGO as part of a growing movement of legendary voices making the platform home.
Why it matters
EPonGO is fast becoming the place where hip-hop's foundation and its future share the same stage — where a legend like Mr. Cheeks can connect directly with the fans and the next generation of independent artists.
> "When someone who helped build the culture chooses to be here, it means everything," said Scott Harris, Founder and CEO of EPonGO. "Mr. Cheeks is exactly the kind of artist EPonGO was made for."
